Every dog in our breeding program deserves a family to call their own. Our Guardian Home Program pairs carefully selected dogs with loving forever homes, where they receive individual attention and enjoy life as part of a family.
Why guardian homes?
We choose dogs with health and temperament in mind and match them with guardian families. We believe our dogs are happier and healthier when they are loved as family pets. This partnership helps us grow our breeding program while giving each dog a home environment and personal care.
What guardian families receive
A healthy dog at little to no upfront cost, and a companion for life. Your dog lives with your family throughout their life, including after their time in our breeding program. We never sell our breeding dogs; they stay in their forever homes.
What we ask of guardian families
- Live in Utah County.
- Understand how to own and care for a dog.
- Provide routine veterinary care, including wellness checks and vaccinations.
- Provide appropriate socialization, exercise, training, and a proper diet.
- Communicate with JW Doodles about the dog’s health and heat cycles.
- Make the dog available for breeding-related photos with 24 hours’ notice.
- A fenced yard is preferred.
How care and expenses are shared
- Guardian families provide a loving home, everyday care and companionship, and cover everyday care expenses.
- JW Doodles pays breeding-related expenses.
The breeding commitment
Female guardian dogs have a total of four litters.
